Al Hilal welcomes back Scott, ex Al Ittihad

Antwan Scott

Al Hilal Riyadh (SBL) has signed Antwan Scott, a 31-year-old American guard who stands at 185cm tall. This marks his return to Riyadh, as he has previously played for the team.

Last season, Scott was the top scorer for Al Ittihad in the Syrian SBL league, averaging an impressive 28.7ppg in 23 games. He also helped his team win the league title, despite finishing the regular season in second place. Scott has also played for Al Hilal in the Saudi Arabian SBL, where he again ranked as the league's third-best scorer with an outstanding 28.7ppg. In addition, he averaged 8.3rpg, 9.0apg (leading the league), and 2.9spg (also leading the league) in 23 games. His contributions were instrumental in Al Hilal winning the league title. This successful season earned Scott several accolades, including being named the Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year, and Guard of the Year.

He attempted to reach the NBA and participated in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2016.
He has also played in the NBA Development League for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

He graduated from Colorado State in 2016, and this will be his eighth season in professional basketball. He also played for other colleges such as Grambling State University and the University of Idaho.
